Controlled by Hatred, Feel Like ShitControlled by Hatred, Feel Like Shit Déjà Vu is the fourth album by American crossover thrash band Suicidal Tendencies, released on October 17, 1989 by Epic Records. Despite containing re-recorded songs of previously released material, Controlled by Hatred, Feel Like Shit Déjà Vu is still considered a studio album rather than an EP or a compilation album. It includes four covers of No Mercy, a cover of Los Cycos It's Not Easy, two never-before released tracks. Suicidal Tendencies - Controlled By Hatred Feel Like 1989. Although Controlled By HatredFeel Like has commonly been referred to as an EP, it is technically the fourth Suicidal Tendencies album, not only because it contains 9 tracks, but because, at 39 minutes, it is much longer than a standard EP, or a even proper studio album. In fact, the album is longer than the band's first two albums. How Will I Laugh Tomorrow 4:38. Suicidal Tendencies - Controlled By Hatred. Feel Like Shit Deja-Vu full album 39:41. Feel Like Shit. It's Not Easy. Cause I feel like shit-but who are you to say I don't know I had to have a right to feel this way I feel like shit-time after time So don't be trying to tell me it's all in my mind I feel like shit-but you don't really care Except my God he used a four. letter word in there. I feel like shit-what am I to you I feel like shit. Deja vu And when I feel like shit, I feel like shit I feel like shit-I'm sorry to say Do you fuckin' think I like feeling this way I feel like shit-what do you expect me to do I feel like shit, deja vu This ain't my imagination Lost. Controlled By Hatred. I see the world it slips so far away Looking back on yesterday Leaves me nothing more to say. Terror reigns my world, Lord please tell me why I'm on my knees, I start to cry I live my life, that's another lie-Controlled by hatred. It feels good, I'm not proud to say But I'll just put off my guilt, it can wait another fuckin' day. I search you out and now you're right within my reach And now you'll learn a lesson only I can teach Now I'm chking it, now I'm checking out Now I start to scream, it's what it's all about. You know I feel like shit-deja vu Feel like shit-deja vu Feel like shit-deja vu And when I feel like shit I feel like shit. The sound here is heavily influenced by second guitarist Mike Clark, who joined the band in 1987. He and his former group, No Mercy, were pals of Suicidal from Venice, Calif. and had affected Mike Muirs decision to take Suicidal in a more thrash-oriented direction. As a form of tribute-or maybe a joining of forces-this release contains four No Mercy covers: Master of No Mercy, Waking the Dead, Controlled by Hatred, and Choosing My Own Way of Life
